Investing in Global Reforestation: Giving Back to Nature

Every year, BC BONCAR participates in the reforestation process globally, including in Madagascar, where we plant trees to compensate for those used in production. This annual investment is part of our collaboration with the LifeGate Zero Impact project, an initiative that reflects our desire to give back to the planet for the beauty it provides us every day.
The Lira Project: Empowering Communities in Uganda
For BC BONCAR, sustainability is not only about protecting the environment but also about uplifting people and communities. One of our most impactful initiatives is the Lira Project in northern Uganda. In partnership with the local municipality and the church of Lira, BC BONCAR helped build essential infrastructure, including a well and a cooperative, to provide water and autonomy to an underdeveloped village. This project embodies our broader mission of empowering people by offering the resources they need to improve their quality of life.
A Benefit Corporation: Our Commitment to Social and Environmental Impact
In 2022, BC BONCAR took a pivotal step by transforming into a società benefit. This transition formalized our commitment to not only generating profit but also creating a positive impact on society and the environment. As a società benefit, we publish an annual impact report to transparently evaluate and share our sustainability efforts, ensuring accountability in our goals.
Supporting Local Communities: “Parco dei Nuovi Nati”
In collaboration with the municipality of Busto Arsizio, BC BONCAR contributed to the development of the “Parco dei Nuovi Nati”, a green space designed to create a positive and sustainable environment for young students. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to foster well-being and sustainability at a local level.
